Ali Bullivent is a performer and songwriter of cross cultural music whose embracing and liberating themes are rooted in a sense of 'community' and personal transformation. Ali writes, directs and performs for a variety of choirs, arts festivals and community workshop. Her multi-diciplined work has included the a capella vocal trio, 'Cana' and performance groups such as 'Flying Ducks'.

Tues 28th October HALF TERM WORKSHOPS FOR 7 – 11’S
Exciting and vibrant morning session working with Grassroots Theatre Company from Zimbabwe. Explore Zimbabwean lifestyle through drama and music, sharing in a performance at 1pm in the cathedral. Cost: £2 (goes towards charity work in Zimbabwe) Venue: Treacey Hall. Times: Registration (with parent) 9.15am, session ends 1.30pm. Bring: packed lunch, and clothes and shoes you can move in.

‘Create and Make’ - all ages
All day drop in ‘arty crafty’ workshops. In marquee on the cathedral grass (weather permitting) or in the Education Room, Westmoreland Street

Weekly African djembe and percussion workshops in the Cathedral Education Centre. Suitable for beginners or those who have drummed before. Venue – Cathedral Education Centre on Westmoreland Street. Cost - suggested donation £3 per week. Time – 7.30 – 9pm. (children to be accompanied by adult please)

Drumming Hands, praise drumming workshop

Thursdays PRAISE SINGING!
Weekly singing sessions for everyone who loves to raise their voice in song! If you enjoy gospel, African, Iona and worship music come along. Venue – Treacey Hall. Cost - suggested donation £3 per week. Time – 7.30 – 9pm

Christmas Journey through drama, music and visuals
KS2 2 hours. Become shepherds, wise folk and angels, and create music and songs to explore the symbolism and message behind the Christmas story. Come on an epic journey which will lead you on a perilous voyage across Israel and a dramatic escape to Egypt.
Cost: £2 per student
Suitable for 1 class (approx 30).

Living Faith
KS1 KS2 KS3 KS4 2 hours.
Audio tour of Discovery – an exploration of the spiritual meaning of what you see in the cathedral. Plus time for guided reflection, questions and simple act of worship. Suitable for 1 class (approx 30).
